FAQ

About the Muffins

What are your flavours?

See our Muffins page to learn more about all our flavours.

Are your muffins vegetarian?

All our muffins are vegetarian except for the savoury muffins Mammamia  and The Big Cheese.

Do you have vegan options?

We don’t have any at the moment, but we may introduce them in the future so stay tuned!

Do you do gluten free?

Not at the moment, but it's certainly a possibility for our future introductions so stay tuned!

Do all your muffins contain nuts?

No, not all of our muffins contain nuts, but they are all produced and baked in the same kitchen so all of them may contain traces of nuts.

Please see our Allergens page for more information.

What are the allergens?

Please see our Allergens page for all details.

Where are the muffins made?

Our muffins are freshly made to order at our bakery in Hackney.

Will you add more flavours to your offer?

Yes! We are continuously testing new sweet and savoury flavours to add to our range permanently and for special occasions.

Our aim is to keep our promise to offer you delicious but nutritious muffins that achieve nutritional claims. We take this promise seriously and therefore will only introduce new options when we're sure we have found the perfect balance.

Do you use palm oil? What about GMO ingredients?

We are proud to confirm that none of our products contain Palm Oil. And we don’t use GMOs in any of our products.

What are your nutritional claims?

Source of Protein, Source of Fibre and No Refined Sugar.

For every 100g, all our sweet and savoury muffins have more than 12g of protein and more than 3g of fibre. Also, none of our sweet muffins are prepared with refined sugar (we use alternative sweeteners instead such as coconut sugar and dates).

Storage and Shelf Life

How long do they stay fresh?

All our muffins are baked to order every day at our bakery in Hackney.

*Sweet muffins last 5 days if stored in the fridge and 3 days if stored ambient.
*Savoury muffins have a shelf life of 3 days and must be stored in the fridge.

How should they be stored?

We recommend both sweet and savoury muffins to be stored in the fridge inside airtight containers. Exposure to air is what makes them dry and hard.

What should I do if I don't eat them on the day of purchase?

SWEET MUFFINS --> you can eat them as they are or wait some 20 minutes after taking them out of the fridge so that they turn softer and lose the coldness from the fridge. In case they were stored in the fridge, you can also consider slightly warming them in the microwave for 30 seconds - nonetheless, please be aware that microwaving them may have an impact on the original condition of some toppings.

SAVOURY MUFFINS --> heat them in the oven for 5 minutes or in the microwave for 1 or 2 minutes, depending on the power of your microwave. If you want to keep their top crunchy, heat them in the oven. *We think they taste better when warm instead of hot.

Can they be frozen?

We don't recommend freezing sweet muffins as doing so will affect their appearance and the overall experience.

Savoury muffins may be frozen if desired (we recommend they're frozen immediately after delivered). After thawing, they should be consumed within two days.

Delivery Orders

Where do you deliver?

We currently deliver in London and are working hard to bring our muffins to other areas in the UK as soon as possible (and hopefully internationally as well!).

Our current delivery radius in London covers most of Central London; if your postcode is not accepted on our ordering site, please email us at orders@muffinnation.co.uk and we'll do our best to deliver to your address.

How long in advance do I have to place my order?

We deliver in only 2 days if your order is placed by 4pm. For example, if you'd like your muffins to be delivered on a Friday, your order must be placed by 4pm on Wednesday.

We are currently working hard to reduce the advance time orders need to be placed as well as to offer same-day delivery.

How much is your delivery?

Our delivery fee is only £3.99 - regardless of where your address is located within our delivery radius in London!

We want as many Muffin Lovers as possible to enjoy our muffins, no matter where they are, without charging prohibitive delivery fees.

Can I order large quantities?

If you are interested in ordering large quantities or a special delivery for any type of event, please send us an email to orders@muffinnation.co.uk and we'll take care of you.

I haven't received my order

If your delivery date has passed and you’ve still not received your order, please send us an email to orders@muffinnation.co.uk with your order number and we'll get back to you immediately.

I received my order but something is not right

If you’re missing items or not happy with something, please email us to orders@muffinnation.co.uk within 24 hours of having received your order. Please include your order number and a photo of any incorrect or damaged items, if any.

I will not be home to receive my delivery

In case you are not home, we will try to contact you by phone. If we are unable to reach you, we will try to leave it at a safe space as available or with a neighbour.
